From Atlanta & Franklin:

  • Head North, as if you're traveling to Asheville.
  • Approx. 20 mi. you will come to Dillsboro; an intersection (the only one after leaving Franklin with a traffic light) w/ Huddle House on the LEFT and Riverwood Shops on the RIGHT. Bear to the RIGHT, into Dillsboro and drive on through to Sylva; it's the next town, a mile or two down the road
  • In Sylva, at the 2nd (or 3rd), you'll see a large, white, marble First Citizen's Bank on your RIGHT. On the LEFT, a 2-story white building with a new, black awning; this intersection is Spring St. Turn LEFT onto Spring St.
  • There is a light within that short block. You are forced to turn LEFT. That is Mill St. Turn left and pull into any of the spaces available along that block. You'll immediately see: Bill's Back St. Take Out; Eric's Fresh Fish Market; Fitzgerald Shoe Repair; a new Hot Dog shop, and at the far end, Cope's Newsstand (facing you).
What you've essentially done, is circle the block. When you turn onto Mill St. you are pointing back in the direction of Dillsboro. When you leave, follow that road and you'll come to the Huddle House intersection.
